Some ideas you can accomplish with tile:

  • Stone. Marble is a hot trend right now, especially in bathrooms. If you’d like a stone look, this is for you.
  • Wood-looks. Tile’s completely waterproof so it can go in places where wood cannot, such as kitchens, baths or laundry rooms.
  • Special medallions, accent walls or backsplashes.

Don’t forget about grout. It comes in so many vibrant colors these days it can be an important part of your layout and design.

Advantages of tile flooring:

  • Durability. Ceramic, when glazed, has a tough outer coating and is waterproof.

Porcelain, a larger format, is completely vitrified. Vitrification is a process that removes all gaps and makes something ultra-strong and completely waterproof; these tiles are also used outdoors as they stand up to frost and other weather conditions.

  • Easy maintenance. It's resistant to stains, odors, and dirt, so all you need to do is sweep. Periodically, mop with a manufacturer-approved cleaner.
  • Eco-friendly. This material is natural, made from clay, so it doesn't attract pollen, dust or other allergens. That improves indoor air quality.
